In all of them the taquiza is a backyard job: the trailer backs onto the driveway where it fits and stays on the street where it does not. Tustin’s rentable rooms allow catering and draw one line under it: no food trucks, no vendors cooking on site. The Clifton C. Miller Community Center has an auditorium for 200 and a kitchen; the Community Center at The Market Place has theatres for 190 to 290 and a kitchen the city calls fit for light catering; the Senior Center seats 200. A hall party here is a tray order — three meats, rice, beans, tortillas and salsas on the hall’s tables.
